Floyd Ro (Darryl Louis Brewster) was born on February 21, 1989, and is an American entertainer. He is known for continuing the legacy of rappers like T. I., Gucci Mane, and Young Jeezy in the hip-hop subgenre “Trap Music. ” Floyd Ro began his rap career in 2019 when he released his two independent trap singles, “Boss Playas” and “Good Life”. He then launched his independent label, Floyd Ro Music, in 2019.

Born to Dwight and Helen Brewster in Orlando, Florida, Ro was raised between The Bronx, New York, and Ocala, Florida. He is the youngest sibling of Felecia Brewster and Dwight Brewster Jr., and spending life in the north and south of the U.S. helped shape Ro as an artist.
Lyrical artists like Nas and the Southern charm of artists like Trick Daddy heavily influence him. His bombastic lyrics and larger-than-life personality have helped propel him into the mainstream zeitgeist. Using his knowledge of the streets and hustle culture, he has crafted a persona that speaks to his audience. His lyrics illustrate the frustrations and work ethic required to live a “Boss Playa” lifestyle. Check out his new single “Hold It Down” on all digital platforms.
